JIMA conducts following activities.

• Establishment and promotion of standardization and nomalization for inspection instruments and related products
• Investigation for improvement of quality, safety and technology for inspection instruments
• Improvement and promotion for production, distribution and trade for inspection instruments
• Hold and participation to exhibition, seminar, study and reseach for inspection instuments
• Announcement and enforcement of law, reguration and standard related to inspection instruments in cooperation with government
• Necessary activities related to above mentioned purposes
